Let's Create An Amazing Educational Experience!
I'm an Earth scientist and a creative problem solver when it comes to course design. I enjoy developing interactive and accessible higher education courses--I am proud to make them stand out!
My Academic Background
Diana Pomeroy examines dinosaur science and contrasts it with popular cultural myths, ultimately defining the dinosaur legacy accurately between the fourth and fifth mass extinction events.
I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Masters of Science degree in Geology from CSU Long Beach in 2007 and 2013, respectively. My focus was in dinosaur paleontology, applying this to Earth system science pedagogy.
I've served my communities in higher education at Cypress College since 2009 and Santa Ana College since 2017.
I care deeply about the success and well-being of my team members and clients, past and present. I strive to make engaging, interesting and accessible learning materials and online courses. I enjoy sharing my passion for science--in the real world as well as in science fiction--to virtual and in-person audiences.
By the Numbers...
